We asked my mom, Sol (who is a gastronome and passionate about everything related to the world of gastronomy), for help in suggesting 3 warm drinks for Meg <3
This journey through our kitchen in search of easy and delicious recipes even led us to remember some family concoctions (which is the case of Grandma Jura's Yerba Mate Tea and also the Cappuccino Mix). I also asked for us to create a vegan recipe, which turned out great and is tasty and quick to prepare.
Shall we get to the recipes?
CAPPUCCINO MIX:
* Yields 860g of Cappuccino Mix (serving 17 portions).
Ingredients:
- 400g powdered milk
- 400g chocolate powder
- 50g instant coffee (preferably powdered, as there's also granulated)
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix all ingredients well with a spoon or a wire whisk. Store in a sealed container.
Cappuccino Preparation:
Add 5 tablespoons of the Cappuccino Mix to a mug with 250ml of boiling water.
Stir well and serve in your Meg Eita Mug.
Tip: if you prefer your Cappuccino Mix without sugar, substitute the chocolate powder with 100g of 50% cocoa powder and sweeten your cappuccino to taste.

Grandma Jura's Yerba Mate Tea
* Yields 1 serving
Ingredients:
- 1 sachet roasted yerba mate tea
- 1 teaspoon orange peel pieces
- 1 teaspoon lemon peel pieces
- 1 clove
- 1 small piece of cinnamon stick
- 250 ml boiling water
Instructions:
Place the ingredients in a mug and pour in the boiling water. Cover the mug and steep for 5 minutes. Remove the sachet, peels, and spices, sweeten to taste, and serve.
Tip: when using citrus peels, avoid the white part of the fruit skin, using only the colored part. When using peels, wash the fruits very well beforehand.
We hope you enjoy them! Who will make them and send us a photo?
