Today is Ice Cream Day! And to celebrate this fresh, sweet, and delicious date, Jess has prepared an ice cream recipe :)
The original recipe is by Lena Mattar, but since our version doesn't have mint, it became a super easy-to-make Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. And the best part? The chocolate sauce is the kind that hardens when it touches the dessert!

Chocolate Chip Ice Cream with Hardening Chocolate Sauce
Ice Cream Ingredients:
-
1 can of condensed milk
-
500ml fresh cream
-
100g chopped semi-sweet chocolate
Hardening Chocolate Sauce Ingredients:
-
200g semi-sweet chocolate
-
2 tablespoons coconut oil
Ice Cream Preparation Method:
1. Place the chocolate in the freezer for 15 minutes
2. Chop the chocolate into very fine shavings (or use a vegetable peeler)
3. In a mixer, beat the cream until firm, forming small peaks
4. Reduce the mixer speed and add the condensed milk in a continuous stream
5. Turn off the mixer and mix in the chocolate shavings with a spatula
6. Place the mixture in a sealed container and leave in the freezer overnight.

Ice Cream Sauce Preparation Method:
1. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler
2. Then, add the coconut oil and serve warm over the ice cream
