Some research even suggests that listening to music while performing an activity helps with productivity and performance (though this depends on the type of music and the task being done at the moment). Only advantages, right?
Researchers noticed that more dance/pop music is good to listen to when we have practical activities to do. When we need to read something, review, or write, it's interesting to opt for instrumental music (like our beloved lo-fi)
Here are 4 cool playlists to help you focus on work:
home office: one of the Megers' favorite playlists on Meg's Spotify. Very good for playing in the office.lo-fi: perfect to listen to while studying. The lo-fi beats blend together, and it feels like one song always fits with the next, not distracting our attention from what we're doing.
slow down: a delightful playlist with calm music to listen to and work to (and also to write this post here! lol).
for listening while simmering: a classic frequently played on Jess's headphones :) Another cool tip is to use apps that create a sound environment to help with focus. One I really like is called Endel (available for iOS and Android). It creates personalized sounds based on the information you configure. For example: if you need to focus to read something, just configure "focus" and select "reading"! It's very easy to use and super useful.
I hope you enjoy it :)
