Baby Book: creation details and behind-the-scenes

The Baby Book is one of our biggest and most ambitious launches of 2019 (and also a product we were very excited to create).

The great challenge was to create a product for mothers and fathers without having gone through the experience of motherhood. How to create a product without knowing in detail what the customers' needs were? Therefore, what helped guide the creation was knowing what I didn't like about the books already available in stores and stationery shops. To do this, I conducted a survey analyzing what already existed and chose indispensable content. At the same time, I spoke with friendly families who had children and discussed what they thought of the albums they had.
After the conversations and research, we arrived at a simple product that contains only the essentials. I wanted a practical book that encouraged parents to complete every little space and that was adaptable for all families and all genders.

The book was also designed with the future in mind, where parents can gift their child with the album of records from their first year of life. That's why we chose to make pages that, when the baby is an adult, will still make sense and be interesting to read. We hope that everything recorded there will be important and relevant to that person's story.
To ensure the Baby Book lasts for many years, it is sold within a super cute box that will help with preservation and to avoid that little fear of using a pen or another, we included a special card in the box to test writing!
On the pages you will find spaces dedicated to pregnancy, birth and the first 12 months until the first year of life, among other spaces to record happy moments. To stick the photos in the album, we included a sheet of (very cute) stickers that serve as corner protectors and also help decorate.

A cool suggestion is to give the album as a gift to new mothers and fathers. It is, without a doubt, a very beautiful, useful, and special item (another "tip" is to use it to announce the arrival of another member of the family - just imagine how emotional that would be!).
