In this post, we'll teach you how to organize your projects and finally bring them to life.
Let's get started!1. Plans need maintenance
It's important to keep in mind that no project will be executed with just the initial planning. Plans need frequent revisions and monitoring. Our needs can change, a task might take longer than expected, and what you planned at the beginning of the year might no longer make sense halfway through.A simple example of changing priorities is discovering a pregnancy. The plans you had before it (like buying a car, renovating the house, going on an exchange program, etc.) might change, as a new priority has now emerged. Therefore, always review your annual plans and goals.
2. List key dates and deadlines
It's very important to set delivery dates so that you create a commitment to yourself and feel motivated to achieve your goals. For example, if your goal is to travel, define the month when it will happen. From there, you start looking for tickets, and with the date set, you create a list of activities with a deadline. What helps a lot in these cases is using a calendar to visualize how much time you have until the deadline and thus be able to program your action plan.
Note: we have cute calendars (here and here)

3. Monthly and weekly goals.
After defining your annual goals, define your goals for each month. Then, break down your monthly goals into weekly objectives. Monthly objectives will be directly linked to annual goals.
Dividing monthly objectives into weekly objectives makes tasks more tangible because when they are smaller, they seem easier to achieve :)
Every week needs objectives, so make it a routine to plan your week at the very beginning of it, whether on Sunday night or Monday morning. It's important to be disciplined for everything to flow smoothly.

This year, for example, I decided I wanted to send 24 postcards. To achieve this, I need to send 2 per month. This way, by the end of the year, I will have met my goal through other "mini" goals that make the main task simpler.
The steps can be small. Each one is essential for the plan to move forward.

So, to recap:
- We need to constantly update our action plan, and for this, it's good to maintain a planning routine.
- Always check, at the beginning of the month, if your goals are the same as at the beginning of the year, and if not, update the list.
- Determine your priorities: which project is most important to you? Define it and focus on it.

The answer is: not necessarily. Any notebook or online system (like Trello) can help you achieve your goals. A Planner is a cool tool that, besides saving you time, already has an optimized format for dividing plans, just like we taught here in the post.
On its pages, you'll find a list of annual goals, monthly objectives, and also weekly ones, which makes planning more practical.
Ultimately, to organize yourself well, you only need a practical tool, planning, and discipline :)
Some final tips:
-
List your tasks every day and don't overload the day. Listing tasks makes it easier to visualize the whole picture. If you have more tasks on one day than another, divide them up.
-
Rest and enjoy your free time: breaks are important to recharge your energy.
-
Stay focused: do one thing at a time and do it well (remember that doing things carelessly often leads to rework, and we don't want to do the same thing twice, right?)
-
Don't think you have to do everything alone: delegate tasks that others can do.
See, it's not that hard! And if you need help, we'll be here to answer all your questions!
