In my old job, it was normal to schedule project evolution by weeks. The principle was always to make the most of that work round, after all, a lot could be done.
How to use a weekly planner
The beautiful and useful Weekly Planner from Meg & Meg was created to facilitate the organization of daily tasks. Planning at the beginning can make the rest of the week much more pleasant. I'll show you some ideas on how you can save time by planning for a few minutes:
AT WORK: note deadlines and deliveries
- What are the important deadlines for the week?
- Is there a very relevant meeting that deserves to be highlighted?
- Could a holiday impact task planning?
Write it down and stick it in front of you so you don't forget what's a priority.
AT HOME: plan the week's meals
- Create a weekly menu and see if you really need to cook every day.
- Go to the market and get all the ingredients at once. Avoiding multiple trips saves a lot of time!
- Thinking about the menu all at once is better than racking your brain over the day's recipe.
FOR YOU: divide exercises and series
- If you already have a gym routine, note down what needs to be done each day of the week
- For those who exercise outdoors, how about varying the modality? It could be walking, cycling, muscle exercises...
- Many series in the queue to watch? Make some room for all of them in your schedule.
